Finalist in the Independent Podcast Awards

I’m absolutely delighted to say that the Spindrift Podcast is a finalist in the Sports Category at the Independent Podcast Awards!

The awards celebrate independently produced podcasts: these are podcasts that have been produced without the support of major platforms or commercial backers. Spindrift is a one-woman passion project; organised, produced, edited, funded and marketed by yours truly, though I do outsource (and self-fund) my sound production to ensure the highest quality audio experience for the listener.

Competition within the category is tough, but in all honestly I’m just wonderfully surprised to be a finalist. I’ll be going down to the Awards themselves in London at the end of October and am looking forward to connecting with other podcasters and generally immersing myself in the scene!
