Spindrift Podcast - new episodes coming soon!
It’s been a long, long time coming, and it isn’t quite ready yet, but I’m tantalisingly close to releasing the next few episodes of the Spindrift Podcast!
I started the podcast back in 2021 after the popularity of the Silverstrange Sessions over lockdown. They reminded me just how much I love chatting to people about their stories, experiences, perspectives and motivations. I used to do it a lot as part of Nature Live at the Natural History Museum, and it just gives me such a great sense of satisfaction. I really enjoy it. So I thought why not do a podcast!
The first bundle of episodes did really well and I got some lovely feedback. Then a whole load of life happened, including family stuff, moving to Scotland and buying a house, changing jobs, and all the associated life admin that comes with all those things. Just before Christmas, I was back in the position to start again so I did two interviews and was poised to edit and release them before Christmas.
Then life threw another curve ball, involving house stuff, which has meant that I haven’t had the time to get the damn episodes edited and out until, well, now really. Seriously, 2023 has been intense and pretty disrupted. And I’m so excited to get these episodes out because the guests are amazing and their stories will really resonate with people. At least, I hope they will.
So now I’ve come up with a solution, which means that in the next week or two, a whole load of fresh, fascinating conversation will launch on Spindrift Podcast. I don’t want to spoil the surprise, but there’s an Olympic athlete in the mix, and I think you’ll LOVE her episode!
